Backup Plan
Our friend Paul runs the Holcomb Valley Scout Ranch, and we had planned on camping there in March, however record snowfalls have sealed the valley. Getting to the camp requires crawling over several miles of bad dirt roads, so as a backup, I reserved a hookup site in San Mateo Canyon. The reservation is for just one night, but we can loiter in the day use area to maximize our time on the famous, "Trestles Beach."

That's too bad. It looks like it'd be a nice area to camp, especially an "exclusive" resort like a Scout Camp.
Hopefully, we'll still make it for a day trip in April, and a long weekend in September.
Now seriously these are beautiful pictures! can i be adopted please?!! c'mon Ed i can knit with Sherry and i don't eat that much?! LOL

We can find room for you on at least a couple of these trips, but you've got to do the dishes!
