One of the things that inspires me is seeing creative solutions to life's problems. As an example, a visitor to the site, He Ruide, had a tent stake stuck in the ground. He used the BAL Trailer Leveler to leverage the stake out of the ground.Our Caboose is filled with our own modifications, some we thought of ourselves, and others were inspired by other campers.
A look at the bookmarks in my browser shows other innovators and creative problem solvers. Finkbuilt is a serious tinkerer. Then there is the artistic tinkering by Nemomatic. There are lots of tools and fun at ThinkGeek, and there is daily inspiration available at Make magazine.

Just wanted to drop a note to say I enjoyed your blog. My favorite part is your posting the specific sites that you like at each campground! My wife and I are in the habit of making notes of "good" sites when we go camping or do an occasional "drive thru" if we pass a campground while we're traveling. We are in So Cal and have looked at several of the State Beach camps you listed.
